- PA Business Central’s Top 100 Organizations: 2021
CHS will be profiled in their February 26th edition, which will feature a brief biography and the logo of all 100 honorees.

Carol will be recognized in the January edition of the PA Business Central which will highlight the Top 100 People in business and economic development who have made a dynamic and significant impact on their organizations and communities.

The Pennsylvania Business Central’s Women in Business publication, along with St Francis University, honored Women Making a Difference, including CHS Vice President Kelli Prucnal, in their October 30th Edition.
- Top 100 People - Peter O'Connor
Peter received this award by the PA Business Central (marking Peter’s 2nd time being named to this list, once as CHS VP and once as AllSource President).
- Presidential Recognition - Peter O'Connor
Peter was selected and recognized for his business’ accomplishments by the President of the United States on stage during a televised event in North Fayette, PA.

Carol Harris received this award given by the PA Business Central.

CHS was ranked as one of Western PA’s best places to work for the twelfth year as a result of anonymous employee surveys.

Megan FitzGerald-Roman received this award given by the PA Business Central.

The prestigious list of women owned businesses worth watching was selected from nominations taken from throughout the publication’s 23 county coverage area. These companies and organizations have had a significant impact on their business, their communities, and in many cases non-profit organizations that have become the passions of their lives.

CHS was honored by the Westmoreland County Chamber of Commerce as Business of the Year in recognition of the company’s outstanding accomplishments and dedicated service to the chamber and community.

CHS achieved the top ranking as largest employer by number of employees by the PA Business Central Temporary Staffing Services list publication. Our numbers surpassed those of the number two firm by 180%.

CHS was ranked by the Pittsburgh Business Times as one of the largest temporary staffing services by number of employees.
- ASA Care Award– CHS, LLC
CHS earned the prestigious American Staffing Association (ASA) Care Award for excellence in corporate social responsibility. The national award specifically focused on CHS’s ongoing commitment to Habitat for Humanity through both community and volunteer engagement as well as philanthropic efforts.
- Pacesetter Award – Carol Harris
Carol Harris was honored as a 2009 “Pacesetter” by Smart Business Network Magazine in recognition of her outstanding and innovative leadership in a difficult economic climate. Carol also won a second award for “Best Story” as part of the Pacesetter program for her inspiring journey as she navigated upward throughout the corporate realm.

This Pittsburgh Business Times award honors the 100 fastest growing privately held companies in Western Pennsylvania as determined by company revenue growth. This notable award recognizes not only the financial development, but also the visionary leadership of the company.

Carol Harris Staffing, LLC has been honored with the annual Pittsburgh Technology Council’s Tech 50 Award. This prestigious award highlights the region’s fastest growing, most innovative technology companies and their service providers. Carol Harris Staffing, LLC was noted as one of the top 10 companies in the service provider category for superior contributions to the success and innovation of its client technology companies.
- Pennsylvania’s 50 Best Women in Business – Carol Harris and Kelli Prucnal – Awarded by The Office the of the Governor
Carol Harris and her daughter, Kelli Prucnal, are currently the only mother and daughter team to have both won the 50 Best Women in Business Award. This exciting award pays respect to the most dynamic women in business today who share a commitment to business growth, professional excellence, and service to the community.

Carol Harris was honored with the prestigious International Athena Award which recognized her excellence and creativity in business, devotion to community service, and assistance of other women in the realization of their leadership potential.
- Ernst and Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year – Carol Harris
Carol Harris has been recognized as Ernst and Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year in the Service Industry. This award honors entrepreneurs whose ingenuity, hard work, and perseverance in their own endeavors provide a solid foundation for future economic growth and success.
- Oprah’s Angel Network Award – Carol Harris Staffing, LLC
Carol Harris Staffing, LLC earned Oprah Winfrey’s Angel Network Crystal Globe Award in recognition of Carol’s outstanding volunteer efforts with the Habitat for Humanity organization. Carol Harris and her company made a commitment to Habitat for Humanity by donating $60,000 to build a home in Braddock, Pennsylvania. This project was personally recognized by Oprah Winfrey as an example of the remarkable generosity which she hoped to encourage with the founding of the Angel Network. Carol’s commitment to community involvement through the Habitat organization extends well beyond this generous donation. Not only did Carol provide the monetary support for this endeavor, but she and her staff also gave hours of their own time and labor to the construction of the Habitat home. In addition, Carol continues to sponsor the annual Carol Harris Staffing Walk, Run, Ride for Habitat for Humanity. This event has raised an impressive $30,000 for each of the last six years Carol has provided sponsorship!
