The CHS Story
Established in 1987 as “Carol Harris Staffing” under the leadership of founder Carol Harris, CHS was built on the principles of commitment to exceptional service, quality, and partnership with our customers.
CHS’s origin story is one of perseverance and ingenuity. From humble roots (the first CHS office in 1987 was once a maintenance closet in a Monroeville office building), our founding leadership worked industriously to grow the organization. During the day, Carol networked and managed sales while her only employee answered phones at the office. In the evening, she went home to fill job orders for her new clients, committed to exceeding their expectations.
Today, CHS has become a trusted partner agency in the Western Pennsylvania region for hiring and employment solutions. While the organization has evolved, our service commitment remains our guiding principle and serves as the foundation and catalyst for our growth.
